About me
“Every time you make a choice that expresses respect for life, you bring a little more love in your body, into your family, into our society, and into a world that is calling out for this blessing.”
I am a French-Turkish visual artist guided by a deep sensitivity to holistic living and environmental awareness. My work explores the profound interconnection between human beings, nature, and the greater whole. For me, art is both a spiritual and sensory journey—a way to express consciousness, presence, and compassion.
Born and raised in Paris, I studied Art History while beginning my teaching career at the Ateliers du Carrousel du Louvre. I later taught at esteemed institutions such as the Musée du Louvre, Musée Carnavalet, and the Petit Palais.
In 2008, I relocated to Istanbul, where I taught at the Sabancı Museum and opened my own studio in Arnavutköy. Since 2004, my work has been exhibited throughout Istanbul, including at Murat Plevneli Fine Arts Gallery, Çağla Cabaoğlu Art Gallery, and Contemporary Istanbul. In recent years, I have also shown in more contemporary and lifestyle-focused venues such as Lucca and Ceremony in Bebek.
Since 2020, I have led visual arts workshops at Amanruya Resort and Six Senses Kaplankaya in Bodrum, and have facilitated art therapy sessions at The LifeCo Holistic Health Center.
I now live in Les Landes, southwest France, where I have a studio at PARCC, the contemporary art center in Labenne, where I also lead visual arts workshops.
My holistic path began in 1987 through the practice of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and meditation, and deepened in 2006 during a transformative journey to Mount Wudang in China with my master, Zhang Ayjun. In 2017, I expanded this practice with yoga, embracing a more integrated spiritual approach to life and creativity.
In 2014, I adopted a vegan lifestyle—a decision that profoundly reshaped my health, consciousness, and relationship to all living beings. In 2016, I completed the Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from Cornell University, reinforcing my commitment to ethical and environmental responsibility.
Over time, I have come to view life as an interconnected, living whole. I believe creativity, awareness, and compassion are essential values that must guide how we live and relate to the world around us. Through my art and teaching, I strive to reflect and share this vision—one that honors life, fosters inner connection, and deepens our relationship to the Earth and one another.
